Prompt No 4 ...The day you left home

The day I left home...

To be honest I never have a chance to fully move away from home. Just to make my mother happy, I applied for the university located in my hometown. I supposed the universe was all my side when I got to know that it was mandatory to stay in hostel during the orientation week as well throughout the first year of studies. I was over the moon, finally a life on my own.  I still remember clearly what happened on the first day I left home.

My mother actually followed me to the hostel room and do you guys want to know what she told my roommate after done interviewing her?

Dear, please take care of my daughter and please do accompany her whenever she goes bathroom.

However, I wasn’t surprised of the statement because I know I can expect this from my beloved mother.
Nevertheless, I really enjoyed my life three years in university even though I was always home during weekends to visit my mother. It was precious good old days where I can roam the streets and gaze the stars with my friends at midnight without anyone checking on me.

Well that is my mother; she has her own idea of how the life of her daughter ought to be. As long as I’m lying lazily on the bed and facing laptop all the day, I will be fine because her eyes are watching me and she will be in peace as long I am inside the house with her. Sometimes dinner may actually arrive on bed for me.  :O That’s too much isn’t it..(I ain’t gonna raise my daughter that way :P) .You see, that’s where our thoughts clashes. I believe that this is the time for me of anyone for that matter to explore the world and learn new things.

My mother strongly believes that the world is not a safe place for her daughter. So until she change her mind, (Well I’m trying my best to make her understand), I will continue to lie that I work on weekends and go places to quench the thirst of travelling in me.  My life is confined into a tiny circle and I can’t cross the lines without hurting my mother. Dont get me wrong I love my mother so much and I'm trying as much as I could to make her happy ..Sometimes love makes everything so complicated you see..

Yes, I’m 25 years old and I still live under the comfort of my family mother.

P.S: I wish I can write more on this but my eyes are almost shutting down already.

P.P.S: Please excuse any grammatical error because I'm just to tired to proof read now

SHe,Me and a Whole Load of crap..

I’m missing the old me, the kind of person that I was a year ago. I guess SHE’s missing right now and I have no idea how to get her back to myself. I admired her truly because SHE had the courage to challenge the destiny, SHE decides what SHE wants in her life and SHE knew exactly how to fight for it. I miss that SHE who doesn’t give a damn about what others were thinking of her. I still remember her walking all through from hostel which is miles away to the class located on top of the hill because the campus bus wasn’t functioning.ohh..how enthusiastic SHE was!!!

And I miss that SHE who will be sitting at the café for hours with just a glass of cold chocolate with a bunch of awesome friends and give marks for all the cool guys that passed around them!! And I miss that SHE who goes late to almost every class and walks out of the class with her ever famous cheeky smile without getting scold because her lecturer loves her :P:P

SHE got her own style of dressing up, and SHE knew SHE’s perfectly alright and looking awesome in that T-shirt and the denim jeans. SHE hated so much when guys stares at her and the same time SHE was totally has a crush on one of her young tutorial lecturer. Her friends looks at her weirdly because SHE kept taking extra subjects even when it wasn’t required by the university, her only reason was to learn as much as SHE can before SHE gets out of university. For her education was everything and that was also the reason SHE gave away a lot of things in her life.

But now that SHE was gone leaving me alone with ME.A totally Lame girl who doesn’t know what to do with her life anymore. SHE had neglected all her casual wear and now totally dress up in a ladylike way because that is what expected from her. The new ME is not enthusiastic about life anymore ..ME takes life as it comes, just following the stream and ME has no idea where it’s leading to…

And ME had forgotten her awesomely cute tutorial lecturer because the new ME found someone else to inhabit her heart. And that someone is one heck a crazy guy which ME has no idea why ME falls for him in the first place. That He is changing her in the way ME doesn’t want to be. That He is revealing The other side of me to ME..and ME doesn’t like when someone else invade her privacy circle but at the same time the new ME is enjoying each and every moment with him..

In a nutSHEll, This ME had turned into a complete idiot ..and all Me needs is SHE..If SHE comes back to ME ..then ME will be perfectly alright!!!

Confusing nah..well my neurons are more confused than you guys

P.S :Well I guess this is what growing up is all about…and guess what???? life iS STILL wonderful :P:P

RandomNESS

Officially, I have just ended my three years of degree life few hours ago. That means no more exams, lectures, viva and etc Therefore I am now completely detached from studies…but I have just added myself to the category of unemployed graduates.(L)
It was truly an uphill battle. I still remember the first day of my arrival here. Everything was new and there were lots of dreams too. I thought everything will be so cool, first time being away from family and I started to built lots and lots of dreams. Unfortunately, everything’s changed. I realised that not all dreams will come true, not all words will be heard and it’s ‘amazing’ how people change their masks everyday. Yes I will be missing this place but a part of me just can’t wait to get out from here.

  7. There are two types of people; one that spent hours and hours in shower and another who don’t shower at all.

  15. .............................
I think I should stop here before the lists get longer!!!!!

One of the things that I cherished the most is the freedom that I get from my university life. Seriously, you can’t get it anywhere else. Here, no one will stop you from anything and you are on your own. But freedoms do come with a price, I started to neglect my studies and it was quite hard to make a comeback but I have managed it somehow. But one thing for sure, I have started to appreciate every little things and only today that matters the most, neither the past nor the future.

P.S: Have a good day everyone J
